Founder and stylist Mr. Wakefield began The Wakefield Journal;  with the idea of creating a two-way dialogue about the world of fashion and its relationship to daily life. Mr. Wakefield began his career in fashion as a personal shopper and stylist for retail companies such as J Crew,  Banana Republic, and White House | Black Market.  The Wakefield Journal serves as a discovery agent for gentlemen who appreciate luxury, style, and quality fashion. In an effort to inspire the modern day gentleman The Wakefield Journal exposes viewers to modern and classic designers. Our mission is to bring our users, whether they’re part of our daily, loyal audience or first time visitors, fashion from a different perspective. It is also our mission to connect our audience with fresh new designers from various parts of the world and designers right in their own backyard.
